Couples:  Feeling disconnected from your partner? You may be tired of fighting. We get it. We specialize in helping couples re-connect. This is accomplished by changing how you communicate. The goal is a healthier, safer and more stable relationship. Our hope is that at the end of couples counseling you will feel more in love and more connected. ​
Life changes: Every once in a while we all get stuck. Feeling sad, anxious or frustrated are common feelings during life changes. Relationship struggles create negative feelings. Often clients are grieving, feeling lost or stuck. Undesired life changes (e.g. divorce) are difficult. We help you process  life changes. Our goal is that at end of treatment you: 1-will understand what has happened emotionally as well as intellectually (making sense of events is part of healing); 2- find solutions that improve your life; 3- feel more at peace even in the middle of a storm. During sessions we may laugh, we may grief and we may find new meaning from your experiences.

Teenagers: We effectively treat teenagers. Some therapists are very clear that they don't like working teenagers. Not us. We love working with teenager especially girls. If you are a teenager or a parent who has a teenager please know that therapy can help. Teenage years are uncharted territory. It is a scary time for parents. Teenagers can be moody  and loving in a span of an hour. Parents often don't know how to help. Their efforts are met with resistance. Counseling can be helpful to find common ground. Teenagers benefit from hearing an outsider's perspective. We provide a new perspective while keeping in mind the parents' interest. We use an exploratory neutral approach to therapy. Let us come along side with you in helping your teenager be healthy and well adjusted.
